Each bundle beneath her feet symbolizes the noise, the expectation, the stories women are supposed to absorb, fix, or carry.Her yellow socks are vibrant, almost defiant. Her gloves are protective, but not clean. She holds a plant in one hand, a broken statue behind her — living and lifeless, tangled together. This painting is about pressure. About standing tall not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary.
